John Dages

Why did you choose Fusion?

I knew the Fusion Alliance app development team through community involvement. The people from Fusion were always pushing boundaries in technology, and I wanted to be part of that team.0

I reached out to a Fusion development leader, joined Fusion, and he later became my professional mentor for the next five years of my career.

What could we spot you doing outside of work that would flabbergast your coworkers?

I’m a private pilot! I actually managed to crash land two separate airplanes (maybe it’s time for some more training). I also organized a wholesome college activity that made U.S. News and World Report’s top 10 college pranks.

What is your personal motto?

Anything worth doing is hard.

What word of advice would you give to someone who’d like to join your team?

Talk to us! Fusion isn’t a match for everyone, but the people who join stay for a long time.

If you were the last man/woman on earth, what would you do?

I have always wondered what the inside of Bill Murray’s house looks like. I think I might check that out – a la Zombieland.

What is your essential vacation item?

I am restless, so I don’t do well on long plane rides. So I’ll always take a laptop or Nintendo Switch.
